This now discontinued Seamaster was produced in honour of legendary diver Jacques Mayol. Mayol was known for his incredible ability to hold his breath underwater and thus the name for this watch, Apnea, comes from the biological term for suspension of breathing. The dial is coloured silver and decorated with flecks of red from the chronograph complication. Surrounding the dial is a unidirectional diving bezel with a 14 minute Free diving timer coloured in red. Of which is sat upon a stainless steel 41.5mm case that is presented on a matching, brushed stainless steel bracelet, fitted with a diving extension clasp. The caseback is then decorated with a Team Mayol dolphin logo, covering the Omega 3601 automatic movement underneath.
