Omega Speedmaster Orbis Edition 324.30.38.50.03.002 review

Since 2011, OMEGA have been a proud supporter of Orbis International. Founded in 1982, this non-profit organisation has dedicated itself to treating preventable blindness and bringing high-level eye care to some of the world’s most remote places.

To support the partnership with Orbis, Omega launched this stunning Speedmaster Orbis Edition 324.30.38.50.03.002 to help continue the fight against preventable blindness. A portion of the sales proceeds for every Orbis watch sold goes towards supporting Orbis’ work.

The watch is encased in a 38mm stainless steel housing, decorated by a blue aluminium tachymeter ring. The sun-brushed blue dial features some captivating horizontal, oval subdials along with a vertical oval date window at the 6 o’clock position which really make this Speedy stand out.

Additionally equipped with rhodium-plated indexes and a blue teddy bear shaped counterweight this dial really is something special.

To top it off, guarding the Omega Co-Axial calibre 3330 movement, the caseback is beautifully engraved with the Orbis teddybear mascot and finished with a sleek brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet.
